Titus Tsang

Titus is a guitarist and musician from Hong Kong with 13 years of music experience and 3 years of teaching experience.

 

At school in Hong Kong, he learned huge range of knowledge about music history and theory and competed multiple times in the Hong Kong Schools Music Festivals and was awarded 4 times. Titus gained ABRSM grade 5 theory with merit in 2015 and ATCL in 2020. As Titus was born and raised in Hong Kong until the age of 14, he can fluently speaks Cantonese, Mandarin and English.

 

Titus in now a third year students in the University of Melbourne studying Bachelor of Music and majoring in guitar performance. He was learning guitar most of the time in his degree with Dr Ken Murray, the head of guitar in his university. He is learning with guitarist Daniel McKay at the moment in the last semester of his degree. Titus was awarded with 2022 Bachelor of Music Entrance Grant before commencing the course.

 

Titus is a passionate musician and teacher, he has 3 years experience of guitar private tutoring, and experiences teaching children and students guitar in primary and secondary schools. In his lessons, he teaches technical guitar skills but also introduces relevant music theory and history to students at the same time. His goal is to deliver his students all the skills and knowledge he learned through his experience in the most efficient way to improve.
