Covid-Safety

• Our staff have completed the Australian Government's Infection Control Covid-19 training.

• We sanitise our instruments and facilities daily. 

• We  ensure that our rooms are well ventilated with fans circulating air. 

• We always have hand-sanitiser available. 

• Our spacious rooms allow for adequate social distancing.

• If students are unwell, we have a policy of conducting the lesson online.

General Safety

Providing a safe and inclusive environment for both children and adults is of fundamental importance for us.

• All of our staff have a "Working with Children" permit and police check, and a secondary presence is onsite at all times.

• A first-aid kit is also available onsite, as well as toilet facilities.

• We alway have a fire and emergency plan ready to be enacted should the need arise, as well as working smoke alarms.

• For safety reasons, we ask that our customers use only the driveways provided for parkings, other the teacher is entitled to not commence the lesson until this has been done in case it hasn't.

• Our facilities are 100% smoke and alcohol free.

• As an option, all students can have lessons recorded and made available to them for personal use.

Getting here and parking

We are fortunate to be positioned right next to bus stops for the 517 Northland/St Helena Bus, which passes along Rosanna and Greensborough train stations. No matter what part of town you are from, getting to Banyule Music and Tutoring is made easy with the bus! We also have ample parking facilities if you require. Timetables can be found here.

We also have parking facilities available on the premises in the form of two driveways.
 

Our Rooms

Banyule Music and Tutoring provide comfortable and spacious facilities that encourage learning in a relaxed atmosphere. Our two large rooms contain guitars of all types and sizes, electric and acoustic drums, study facilities and a baby grand piano, affording our students with the opportunity to use professional equipment. We are especially proud to provide our piano students with a baby grand to keep them motivated and inspired in their musical journey.

Our very own ‘Rock Room’ is dedicated to all things rock and roll, with an electronic drum kit and guitars that create the full rock band experience for students. This is the room where we encourage all things loud! Tune up, plug in an turn it up in when you enter The Rock Room for lessons which are fun, dynamic and energetic!

Having two rooms also affords students with the opportunity to practice should they arrive early, or to kick back and read from our personal library. We also have spacious restroom facilities as well as a kitchenette perfect for providing cups of tea, coffee and cold drinks.
